As a sportsperson, I can provide in-depth knowledge about padel, tennis, running and golf, as well as working with the York Knights Rugby League team. I'm also a super-fan of all things health and wellbeing, from women's health to science.
I've partnered with Elevate Sport Padel, a national, high-quality professional padel tennis organiser to provide sports massage and physiotherapy for competitors.
I started having personal training sessions with Jack after a heart bypass operation. Not being someone who naturally enjoys working out, I wanted help to focus my efforts in order to improve my chances of recovery. I was referred to Jack at the gym and am now recovering well with thanks to his help, advice and encouragement. As we have worked together he has changed our sessions in line with my improving capabilities and areas of weakness but always with room for a bit of fun, which has been so important in keeping me on track.
As an experienced padel player now in my 40s, working with Jack has made a huge difference to both my performance and recovery. His combination of personal training and physiotherapy expertise means the sessions are tailored specifically to how I move and perform on court. The focus has been on dynamic movement, building core strength, improving stamina, and developing more explosive movement, all while helping keep me injury-free. I have a scoliosis which was causing increasing levels of pain. Whilst my condition will not reverse, I have remained very active and ambitious for my ongoing physicality.
